How To Setup & Apply Tax Rates

It's an ugly truth but we all have to collect and pay taxes. Unless you live in one of those exceptions states! Setting up your Tax Rates and applying them is very simple.

Let's get started!!

Navigate your way from the Brigade Back Office to General Setup.

You will want to Add Tax to start adding a Tax Rate.

Enter the Tax name
Enter the Tax rate
Click save
Note: Most states make it mandatory to tax your Auto Gratuity as it is taxed as a sales item (like you are selling service). We give you the option to set the Tax Rate for Auto Gratuity. THIS IS NOT WHERE YOU SET YOUR AUTO GRATUITY AMOUNT.
