How To Use Custom Modifiers

Custom Modifiers can be used to modify a menu item without having to choose from an existing Modifier Group. This can be useful in cases of seasonal ingredients or special requests that may not be listed on the menu. In this example we have a small quantity of truffles we will offer shaved on to our entree's.

We will open our tab and ring the menu item(1).

After which we will select the item on the check(2).

Once the menu item is selected we can click the Custom Modifier button located in the center of the bottom menu.

This will open a prompt for you to fill out the Modifier Name(1) and the Modifier Price(2). 

Once we have entered the correct information about the Custom Modifier we will confirm by clicking the checkmark and apply the modifier to the menu item.

We've know applied a Custom Modifier to our menu item without having to visit the office to create a new Modifier Class.
