How To Use Teams

The concept of Teams is a system to access other servers/bartenders Tabs/Checks with accountability. There are a few concepts in Teams that we will go over in this article.

Setting Up Teams

Setting up Teams is done in the Brigade Back Office under Settings. Navigate your way there and choose Teams.

Let's get you familiar with the page before we dive in any further:

The Users box on the left is where you will find the Users you want to be apart of a Team. Simply search for the name or expand the Role boxes to find the User you are looking for. Once you do, simply drag that User over to the Team box that you want them in. You can delete a User from the Team's boxes by hovering over the User and clicking the x.
Here you can set the Name for the Team that will show up on the iPad.
Here is where you can Add a new Permanent Team or a Shift Team.
Here is where you can delete a Team.
Just drag and drop from the left to the right!

Super Team

Super Team is permanent and can't be deleted. Every User in Super Team has access to ALL servers and checks that are open. This is a manager see all function so a manager may take action on any check by using their own unique 4 digit pin on the iPad. In contrast the other Team boxes only allow the Users in that box to see the other Users in that box.

Shift Team

Using the Shift Team can be beneficial if you have a trainee that needs to access the trainers checks or you have pooling sections for servers that change daily. Simply choose Add Team from the top right of the screen and choose Shift Team. Find the Users on the left that you want in that Team and drag them over to the box. Make sure to name the Team as that is what will show up on the iPad.

NOTE: Shift Team deletes at restaurant close which is set in Restaurant Settings

Permanent Team

Using Permanent Teams is useful if you need certain employees to see each other's checks indefinitely. For example a bartender pair or all of your bartenders. Simply choose Add Team from the top right of the screen and choose Permanent Team. Find the Users on the left that you want in that Team and drag them over to the box. Make sure to name the Team as that is what will show up on the iPad.
